IP & Patent Law Experts

About the Role

We are seeking IP and Patent Law Experts, patent attorneys, patent agents, and IP litigators, to train AI on patent prosecution, claim drafting, prior art analysis, and trademark and copyright law. This is one of our highest-compensated roles, reflecting the specialized expertise required. Technical backgrounds (engineering, CS, biotech) combined with a JD or patent agent registration are especially valued.

Requirements

• •JD with IP specialization or USPTO-registered patent agent/attorney
• •3+ years of patent prosecution, IP litigation, or licensing experience
• •Technical undergraduate degree (CS, EE, Biology, Chemistry, or Engineering) preferred
• •Deep knowledge of 35 U.S.C., USPTO procedures, and claim drafting
• •Ability to analyze prior art and write precise technical-legal explanations

Responsibilities

• •Draft example patent claims and prosecution arguments
• •Review AI patent analysis for legal accuracy and claim scope
• •Create training data on patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate, and IP strategy
• •Evaluate AI prior art searches and patentability analyses
• •Develop benchmark tasks for AI patent claim drafting and analysis
